AIX: formatting the hard drives

1.  Setup P5 for DIAG on the nim master

a.  smitty nim_mac

b.  Select Perform Operations on Machines

c.  Select diag

d.  Select the P5 server name

1 2.  Boot up P5 server to SMS.

a.  Boot up from NIC to NIM Server

                  3 - Task Selection                                                      

                       Format Media                                                       

                       Select hdisk<number>                                              

                       Format and Certify Disk
